Graduation is always one of the most poignant moments in the Annemount calendar, and this year was no exception.

Our Year Two pupils delivered their personally composed speeches to an audience that included their future headteachers — a remarkable thing to witness, and a testament to the confidence, articulacy and self-belief these children have developed during their time at Annemount. Every speech was a reflection of a child who knows who they are, what they value and what they are capable of.

For those pupils who have been part of the Annemount family since Nursery, graduation marks the end of a chapter that began when they were just two or three years old. To see how far they have come — academically, socially and in terms of character — is a source of immense pride for every member of our team.

We are immensely proud of each and every one of our Year Two graduates. We wish them every success as they embark on Year Three in September, and we very much hope they will keep in touch and come back to visit. Former pupils are always welcome at Annemount — as our 90th anniversary fete reminded us so beautifully this year.
