Annemount School was thrilled to host the ISA London North Under 7s Football Tournament at Powerleague on May 9th. Twelve teams participated and demonstrated impressive team play, sportsmanship and some real skill.
The goalkeepers were alert and saved many a goal and the strikers and defenders worked together to compete for their teams. The finals were cheered on by The Gower School, Mulberry House, Lyonsdown, Lyceum, Charterhouse Square and Avon House Prep-all in good spirit. The winners were Annemount, who not only received the trophy but also a visit and tour of Wembley Stadium!
Congratulations to all the players, each of whom received a medal, awarded by former England player and both a Spurs and Man United legend Teddy Sheringham MBE.
We were honoured to have the trophy awarded by Daryl Janmaat, Dutch professional footballer, who plays as right-back for Premier League Cup Watford and the Netherlands national team. We wish him well for the forthcoming FA Cup Final!
