Parking Permission Form

Parking Permission Form

The safety of our pupils is paramount to the school. Annemount is also part of an attractive, residential community, which we need to respect and support. Therefore, we ask that you observe the following parking guidelines instituted with these considerations in mind. Any person dropping-off or picking up pupils must read and sign this form to ensure that they are also aware of these regulations. The school’s preference is for pupils to walk at least part of the way (park and stride) to school. The school requires parents to park on the school side of Holne Chase or neighbouring streets to eliminate traffic flow restriction and to prevent children from having to cross the road. Annemount requests drivers to turn at the safe turning points at the semi-circles just beyond the school where Holne Chase meets Rowan Walk, so that cars are correctly facing in the direction of the flow of traffic when parked. We ask drivers to please respect the grass verges and driveways at all times, leaving at least one meter of space on either side of any driveway around the school to maximise visibility for neighbours leaving their driveways. Please refrain from parking on the corners of Holne Chase and Chalton Drive or Holne Chase and Neville Drive as this also compromises visibility for drivers as well as the H2 bus. For the health of our pupils, staff and the environment, we ask that you do no idle your cars while waiting for drop-off or collection as this increases pollution and a risk to health.
