Admissions

Admissions

Annemount welcomes children from the age of two and a half to the Nursery and Pre-Reception classes. Children must be aged four by September for admission into Reception, aged five by September for admission to Year One and aged six by September for admission to Year Two.

We encourage both parents to visit the school. Please use the Tour Request Form to make an appointment. Mrs Maidment, Head Teacher, will be delighted to meet you.

Mrs Maidment will show you around the school and classrooms, giving you the opportunity to see the school in action and meet the children.

In addition to the “visit”, we encourage parents to watch our School Video as well as our Wellbeing Film. This shows the  pupils’ perspective of their school experience.

Early registration is advised as we offer places in registration order. Registrations for children seeking entry will secure a place on our assessment list.  All children seeking admission are invited to an informal activity session prior to an offer being made.

The Registration Form needs to please be completed and returned together with the registration fee of £150 per child.  You are welcome to pay by BACs and our bank details are as follows:

Annemount School Ltd

Account Number  00463779

Sort Code 18-00-02

Kindly reference the payment with your child’s name and let us know by email.

Admissions’ assessments commence during the Autumn term prior to the year of entry. We do also consider late applications. We invite all of our applicants to participate in small groups and let them choose different activities and play. We also teach them something completely new. In this way we can have a sense of their development in all areas of learning. Our objective is to be able to meet each child’s needs within a harmonious class setting. Rather than attainment, we are looking for potential and suitability to the programme at Annemount.

Once an offer of a place is made, parents are invited to commit to their child’s place by means of a non-refundable deposit of £1000.
