Internet Safety

18th September 2020

Technology has transformed the entire process of teaching and learning at Annemount School.  It is a crucial component of every academic subject, and is also taught as a subject in its own right.

This communication revolution gives young people unrivalled opportunities.  It also brings risks.  It is an important part of our role at Annemount to raise awareness to pupils, staff and parents on how to stay safe in this environment and how to avoid making themselves vulnerable to a range of risks linked to the potential content, contact and conduct within websites, including identity theft, bullying, harassment, grooming, radicalisation, stalking and abuse.

Please can we direct you, as parents, to these helpful links to understand more about online safety and how to protect your children. There is a lot of support available to keep your child safe online.
